With summer coming to a close 13 in our PD Family + 2 pets completed our 3rd climbing of this high elevation peak. Life is regenerating after a fire devastated the area in 2017. The day was sunny & warm. The mountain lupine was waist high as we walked a ridge line. A burnt out tree stump gives life to a bee colony. Root, rocks and soft sandy soils helped us build core strength, dopamine and reminded us to pick up our feet. As a team we climbed to the peak and recharged our bodies with food, water and views of MT Rainier through a bit of smoke haze. The descent was a nice stroll with continued conversations amongst friends. Upon returning to our cars we were rewarded with home made cookies from Amy W & Jen G. THANKS to everyone who lent a hand making the day a safe & fun for everyone.
