On a lovely summer evening 12 of our family got together to have casual conversations with renowned YOPD MDS Dr. Lin Zhang of UC Davis and his son Jesse over dinner at Georgetown Liquor Company.
Dr. Zhang was very easy to speak with. He has a warm, friendly demeanor. His knowledge of DBS and YOPD communities' needs is extensive! There were 4 PWP in attendance that were considering the procedure. Additionally, we had 1 member that had just gone through DBS in the last couple months. The conversation and combined strength of our members left me feeling less apprehensive about the procedure and more willing to discuss my potential path with others.
