04.22 Lime Kiln Trail

On a typical PNW grey April day 10 people connected on a hike through the forest along a river. We chatted about mundane and serious topics. Offering a hand or a lift to friends as we made our way over several large down trees. streams and mud pits. The constant spring high water level rumbling over the rocky bed at the bottom of the ravine. 4+/- Miles in (sign says 3.6 but all our GPS showed higher) we reached the river side for a much-needed rest, lunch, water and group photos. Our way back seemed quicker. Maybe because we had already done it and knew how to accomplish the 8+ miles together!
