9.10 High Trek Park

It was a day of conquering anxiety, adrenaline rushes and encouragement.18 people went to High Trek Adventure Park in Everett and climbed around a 3-level rope, steel and wood structure. We challenged our balance and perceived fear of heights. We made dopamine and tested upper body strength. We saw an 8-year-old fly around the course making it look easy.  My PD Sista, Amy, and I encouraged each other through each obstacle until we made our way to the 1st of 3 zip lines.  Which in my younger years would have never terrified me but since PD I've become fearful of heights. I encouraged Amy to make the leap before testing the cable strength with my full weight. It was exhilarating and I'll definitely be doing others in the future.
