6 of us got together with the intention of snowshoeing Gold Creek Pond Trail near Hyak. Mother Nature has other plans for Snoqualmie Pass and sent temps up to record levels plus dumped over an inch of rain. Not wanting my weather shield to be damaged I spoke with the RSVP people, and we came up with a plan B. It was Brunch at the restaurant my husband, Damion, is the General Manager of Derby, on 6th Ace in Sodo. Besides a restaurant and bar there's a barber and cigar shops. But the real reason to go is for "The Shop"! A huge warehouse where members store their very expensive cars. Everything from Macklemore's Moose Motorcycle, America's classic muscle cars, 1930s Jaguars, 2 Rolls Royce Phantoms and so much more. ($10 for the tour of the car warehouse) If you've not heard of the place, you should definitely check it out. The food is fabulous! The company could not have been better, and the cars are jaw dropping.
