06.08 McGarvey Park

On the hottest day so far in 2025, 8 people and 3 dogs gathered to soak up the energy of the forest and the vibes from being with other that have YOPD. WE had 4 new people show up at an event. We saw a deer while waiting to get started. Su saw a snake and a baby squirrel. WE all got to see this giant slug. He must have been 5" long and was the only moving slow enough to get a photo.  We chatted as we stepped over roots and rocks. Making Friends and dopamine! 3 in our group made it to the peak and were treated to a magnificent view of MT Rainier.
