06.08 Taylor Mountain

Last week 3 of us and Willow took an exploratory trek out to these systems of trails. High light of the day, besides the great friends I was with, was seeing a bobcat in the wild for the 1st time. On the following weekend 6 of us and Indie did the same hike in much sunnier weather. 5 miles round trip with a lovely picnic table in the middle of the woods to rest, grab snack and enjoy each other's company. This time we saw a Garter snake. No better way to spend the day.
