07.19 Moss Lake
7 friends took time out of the busy summer weekends to walk 4 miles soaking up good energy you can only get from being the dense PNW fern and moss-covered forests with your Parkinsons friends. We saw a lot of moss but not so much of the lake. The trail went around most of the perimeter and we could see it through the forests but never got near the edge. We did happen to see a kayaker on the water and caught a glimpse of a snake. Mosquitoes were the most prevalent species around, unfortunately. Besides that, it a lovely spot in rural Washington. 4 of us lunched at the Carnation Cafe before heading home.
