12.27 St. Marks

Founding members Jim and Darlene treated SEAYOPD and their friends to a history lesson and private concert at a lovely Episcopal Church on Capitol Hill. Jim showed us his talents and knowledge of pipe organs and Darlene accompanied him on the oboe. We got to sit in the upper alcove right next to the massive pipes for most of the concert. Then for the last piece of music we wandered around the main church feeling the resonating sounds from multiple vantage points. Wrapping up the day with coffee and snacks.
